Bierstacheln Day – Saturday and Sunday, February 7th & 8th
Join us the weekend of February 7th & 8th, as we will host our Second Annual Bierstacheln party. Free to join the festivities. You will just need to purchase your beer. We will have the fire going and one of our team will lead the process with anyone that wants to experience a fun way to enjoy their beer.
Bierstacheln, meaning “beer sting” or “beer spike” in German, is a process during which a short metal stick called a bierstachel (pronounced “beer shta-hll”) is heated to about 600° C (1112° F) and plunged into beer for a few seconds. This caramelizes the residual sugars in the beer, creating a toasted marshmallow-like flavor and a dense, long lasting foam. The temperature of the beer is also raised by 3-5° F. The sensation of the warm foam and the cool beer is a delightful contrast of temperatures.

Come celebrate 420 irresponsibly with us as we explore the world of terpenes with cannabis derived tastes in a variety of specialty beers. And yes…Skunk Punch will be back.
Terpenes don’t get you high but they are what gives both hops and cannabis their flavor. Popular terpenes include (limonene),(myrcene, linalool), and (pinene). The TTB will not approve formulas for any alcoholic beverages containing controlled substances, such as marijuana, THC, or CBD, regardless of state-level legality. These beers only contain the flavors of cannabis. They DO NOT have any THC or CBD included.
